Our room was more updated then the photos on the website, we loved having a mini fridge, the window bench seat, and the closet. The room is tiny, there isn't much space for luggage or storage, which was not a problem for us. If you are wanting to spend time in your hotel room, this is probably not the place for you. We are hikers, we we were just looking for a place to sleep and shower. We go to Gatlinburg almost every year, and this was a perfect hotel for my fiancé and I. We got the room for less than $70 a night, a bargain for a tourist town. We booked a "last minute" get away less than a week in advance and found this hotel. We just got back from our stay at Microtel, overall it was a great place to spend 4 nights.
